Four concrete actions deployed in the field

3. A first in the region: free distribution of bicycle mirrors
To increase cyclist safety, the city will be distributing 100 free bike mirrors, available at the Services Brossard counter at city hall, on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Concrete commitment from young drivers: partnership with CAA and Tecnic
In a unique collaboration with CAA and Tecnic Brossarddriving schools, 150 first-aid kits will be handed out to graduates of driving courses (car, motorcycle or moped). A symbolic signature of commitment to responsible behavior will accompany the handover.

“Every day, children cross our streets to go to school, seniors walk to the park, families ride their bikes. Their safety should be a matter of course. In Brossard, we take this commitment to heart. This campaign is much more than a municipal initiative: it’s a promise to those we love,” says Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
