Barracks 44

A new generation of barracks

Located at 2655, boulevard Matte, the new Barracks 44 became operational on February 28, 2024, within the Agglomération de Longueuil.

Designed by Groupe Leclerc architecture + design, it is the first fire station in Quebec to offer a complete decontamination program. This flagship building combines performance, functionality and comfort, offering :

  • exemplary working conditions for staff,
  • a strategic location to optimize operations,
  • a modern, eco-friendly architectural design.

PPU downtown

An urban vision for the future

Adopted in 2024, the downtown area’s Plan particulier d’urbanisme (PPU) is one of the most ambitious development projects in the metropolitan region. With the support of Atelier Urbain, Brossard is planning the creation of a truly modern and sustainable city center, including :

  • more than 12,000 new homes,
  • a mix of uses (shops, services, jobs),
  • active, collective mobility powered by REM,
  • a network of public spaces including a pedestrian esplanade and a large central park,
  • development focused on quality of life and adaptation to climate change.

A price that depends on you!

In addition to the prizes awarded by the jury, the People’s Choice Award is presented to the project that receives the highest number of online votes by October 1, 2025.
