This fall, voters in the City of Brossard will determine the people who will form the next Municipal Council. The city of Brossard is divided into 10 electoral districts. A map and description of these districts are available on the Electoral Districts - Description section. The position of mayor and one position for councillor in each of the 10 districts will be open for nominations.
Our neutral and impartial team is responsible for organizing this exercise in democracy that electors are invited to take part in on November 5, 2017.

An election is organized in several stages within a very short period:
Beginning of the election period September 22
Period for filing candidates’ nomination papers September 22 to October 6
Filing of the list of electors October 6
Reception at your home of a notice containing the names of the electors entered on the list of electors at your address, as well as the location, dates and hours of the revision office. Starting October 10
Revision of the list of electors by the board of revisors (for requests to enter, correct or delete a name). October 19 and 20 | 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
October 21 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Reception of a reminder card indicating where to vote as well as the names of the candidates in your district. Starting October 27
Advance polling October 29 | Noon to 8 p.m.
Polling day November 5 | 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you are the sole owner of an immovable, the undivided co-owner of an immovable, the occupant of a business establishment or the co-occupant of a business establishment, you have the right to be entered on the municipal electoral list for an election, a register or a referendum, even if you don't live in Brossard. To do this, simply complete the appropriate application for entry on the list of electors and submit it to
